Met on instagram, eloped (married) in Greece. Greg is born and raised in the borough of Queens, New York City. Jumi is from the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines. With the help of instagram we met during Hurricane Sandy in New York City. We've lived a comfortable life in our 20's and decided to leave it all behind in our 30's. We have traveled to over 20 countries while slowly making our way to our freedom and have been on the road since March 2020.
Our life in New York City split between our full time jobs and eating out every night exploring NYC's diverse neighborhoods via food. Inspired by many travel and food vloggers (local and international) our goal is to keep busy exploring, support local businesses and share them all with you.
Currently, we are exploring the world one (or more) cuisine at a time. Come eat and travel with us!

There are always travel alerts for Americans to go there, but I definitely want to visit. Doesn't look concerning in your video at all.
It is very peaceful. The travel alerts are more for Songkhla province in general, moreso closer to Yala and Pattani.

I was traveling from Koh Lipe recently and had a few days to spare before my flight from Hat Yai airport back to Bangkok, so decided to visit Songkhla on a whim. It absolutely surprised me with its charm and laid back atmosphere. It is definitely one of my favorite towns in Thailand as well.
